Voices of Florida Fund Donation Policy
As a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to defending human rights and reproductive freedoms, Voices of Florida Fund relies on charitable contributions to fulfill its mission. By making a donation to Voices of Florida Fund, you acknowledge that your contribution is a non-refundable gift and that you have relinquished control of the funds. Once a donation is processed, it is immediately put to use for our programmatic and operational needs.

Voices of Florida Fund generally does not provide refunds for donations.
Exceptions to the Policy
Voices of Florida Fund may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund only in the following limited circumstances:​
Duplicate Processing or Error
If an error occurs in the donation process, such as a duplicate charge or an amount charged that differs from the amount authorized by the donor.
Event Cancellation
If a donation was made specifically for a ticket or entry fee to an event that the Voices of Florida Fund subsequently cancels. In this case, donors will be offered a refund or the option to convert the payment into a general, non-refundable donation.
Restricted Donations
For large donations made under a formal, written agreement that restricts the funds for a specific purpose, a refund may be mandatory the Voices of Florida Fund is unable to meet the agreed-upon terms of the restriction.
Voices of Florida Fund Shop Product Return Policy
This policy applies only to purchases made through the Voices of Florida Fund official online store (merchandise sales). For policies regarding general charitable donations, please see our Donation Policy.
Return and Exchange Eligibility
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, which directly supports our mission to defend human rights and reproductive freedoms in Florida. We accept returns and exchanges on most merchandise within 30 days of the original order delivery date. To be eligible, items must be: • Unused, unwashed, and undamaged. Items must show no signs of wear, use, or alteration. • In the original packaging, where possible, with all protective materials and tags still attached. • Accompanied by the original Wix Order Confirmation or proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable and Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and are exempt from returns or exchanges: • Items marked as Final Sale or Clearance at the time of purchase. • Gift Cards or electronic/digital content. • Custom-made or personalized merchandise. • Items that present a hygiene concern (e.g., earrings) if the protective seal or original packaging has been opened or removed.
The Return and Exchange Process
To ensure your return or exchange request is handled quickly and correctly, you must follow these steps. • First, Initiate Contact: Before shipping any merchandise back, you must send a message through our Contact Us form. Please use the subject line format: ORDER NUMBER - Return or ORDER NUMBER - Exchange. • Next, Provide Details: In your email, clearly state which item(s) you are returning or exchanging, and provide the reason for the action (e.g., wrong size, defective item, etc.). If requesting an exchange, you must specify the exact new size or item you need. • Receive Authorization: Our team will review your request and, if approved, will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct mailing address for the shipment. Returns sent without a valid RMA number will be rejected. • Finally, Ship the Item: You are responsible for securely packaging the item. Be sure to include the original receipt or packing slip and write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a shipping method with tracking and insurance, as we are not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit back to us. Note on Defective/Incorrect Items: If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., you received the wrong size, color, or a defective item), please mention this in your initial email. We will provide a prepaid return label and cover the necessary shipping costs.
Refunds and Processing
Once your return is received and inspected: • Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed to the original method of payment (the credit card or account used for the Wix checkout). Please allow 7–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement after approval. • Rejection: If the return is rejected (e.g., item is used, damaged, or beyond the return window), the customer will be notified and responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item back to them. If the re-shipping fee is not paid within 30 days, the item will be considered a non-refundable, non-returnable donation to the organization.
Refunds and Processing
• Order Processing: Orders are typically processed and handed to the fulfillment center within 3-5 business days of placement. • Shipping Estimates: Delivery times are calculated based on the method selected at checkout. Standard domestic shipping often takes an additional 5-7 business days after the item has shipped. • Delays: We cannot control transit times once a package is with the shipping carrier. We are not liable for delays caused by carrier service issues, weather, or national holidays. • Lost Packages: If the tracking information confirms delivery but you have not received your item, please contact your local postal service first. If a package is formally declared lost by the carrier, contact us immediately to discuss replacement or refund options.
Important Tax and Legal Disclosures
• Florida Sales Tax: The Voices of Florida Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Purchases of merchandise are not charitable donations and are generally subject to Florida sales tax, which is calculated and applied at checkout as required by law. • No Tax Deductions: The purchase price of shop merchandise is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. • Allocation of Funds: All proceeds from the sale of merchandise are allocated to support the programmatic and operational mission of Voices of Florida Fund.
